Minors should not be placed in unsupervised contact with the public, in clinical rooms, or in active disaster sites because a film was moving. volunteer& can describe risks. Only a school, family, or licensed organisation can accept them.

Minimum expectations for a student project.

• Named supervising adults and ratios appropriate to age.
• Permission from parents or guardians for travel, overnight work, and images.
• A rule that students can leave a task without humiliation.
• No sharing of other children’s images from a service site.
• Money counted by two people; no personal accounts for donations.
• First aid and emergency contacts written down, not remembered.

Images and stories.

Archive photographs already on this site remain part of the historical record. New student photography is a different act. Default to no faces, no medical scenes, and no captions that identify a private person. When in doubt, write without the picture.

What this domain cannot do.

It cannot run background checks, provide insurance, or certify hours. If a programme claims otherwise using this brand, treat that as a warning and verify independently.

Digital safeguarding.

Do not add students or people met during service on personal social accounts as part of the project. Do not share locations of care homes, shelters, or private addresses. Do not forward medical or school records in a group chat. Archive films already on this site are public historical material; new recordings of minors at a school event need separate consent.

When a story is too heavy.

Teachers and families should warn students that hospice, disaster, and displacement material can be distressing. Offer an alternative assignment: a preparedness brief, an auction description workshop, or a research task that does not require watching the most difficult film. Wanting to help is not a reason to force a minor to sit with images they cannot yet metabolise.

If a student discloses harm to themselves or others while reflecting, that is a safeguarding event for the school or family, not a prompt for the website. This domain has no intake form for emergencies.
